Over 50 years of engineering advancements
Loadmaster is a roof deck system that is engineered for today’s building industry. For over 50-years, we have been leaders in engineering advancements that have met every building design challenge.
Each Loadmaster Roof Deck Assembly is engineered not only for the unique needs of each building’s specific design, but also to develop structural composite performance among the components which reduces stress on the roof coverings in regard to gravity loads, wind uplift loads, and diaphragm shear loads. By reducing those stresses, our roof decks can increase the performance life of a roof covering by many years.
System Components The flexible interfacing of 91 different components are engineered and designed for compatibility and complementary structural performance, delivering strength, stability, and a superior performance life in more than 5000 possible assemblies.
Twelve Configurations The Loadmaster System has twelve assembly configurations derived from three original structures, with each having four options for builders. Each of these structures can be nailable, acoustical, and nailable/acoustical.
The Three Structures
Basic: Duraflex Mineral Board affixed to steel sections
Insulated: Duraflex Mineral Board with insulation affixed to steel sections
Dual Board: Duraflex Mineral Board applied to the top and bottom of the insulation and affixed to steel sections
Over 5000 Assemblies Over 5K different assembly combinations can be developed from the 91 component choices and the twelve assembly configurations to meet virtually all types of building designs. They fall within all model building code requirements and will function as a substrate for all types of roof coverings. For more information, see the Loadmaster Assembly Guide.
Loadmaster was founded in Dallas, Texas in 1969. In 1995, the company moved to Atlanta, Georgia where it continues to be headquartered.

NOTE: On a large portion of projects listed, the project name listed covered a group of as many as 7 or 8 buildings. Also, for the first 15 years there are no jobs included for Dealers outside of North Texas which includes Dealers in South Texas, Kansas, Missouri, Georgia & Louisiana. Loadmaster estimates the number of buildings with Loadmaster Roof Decks to be 10,000. Loadmaster records on Duraflex Mineral Board used exceeds 500,000,000 sq. ft. and that divided by 10,000 buildings equals an average of 50,000 sq. ft. / building – a very possible number.
