Duraflex Screw Attachment to Steel Sections
Attachment of the Duraflex Mineral Board through the insulation (if present) and into the steel sections using unique screws in a highly engineered, patented attachment pattern that converts the individual pieces into a structural composite assembly, which meets all IBC requirements and produces exceptional structural strength and stability for the roof covering.
Compression Discs Anchor Butt Joints
Corrosion resistant compression discs provide concentrated load deflection continuity at all abutting Duraflex Mineral Board locations.

Duraflex Board Joints Taping
When asphalt adhesives are used to attach the roof covering, pressure sensitive, weather resistant Joint Tape is applied over Duraflex Mineral Board Joints. This provides a continuous level plane across the joints and prevents asphalt adhesives from penetrating the roof deck assembly.
